This is the amount of unused acrylic paint that collects on my paint palette. I refer to it as paint-skin.
So it would be a good idea to use this paint-skin as part of my abstract painting process. ( used this before ).
Recycled and re-worked by cutting or tearing this for my artwork.
It will add interesting texture for certain style and theme of abstract painting. Continue reading ...
Using Texture in My Paintings

Sometimes I enjoy experimenting with surface-texture in my paintings. Have used plaster and clay on the canvas. These tactile qualities enhance the theme of the paintings.
Dried paint from the painting-palette also becomes interesting paint-skins to use.
